A Designer’s Original

All night he thought about it; how he would create it, after all this was his very best project. The entire world was waiting on this one, the creation of a lifetime. He had to make sure that every inch of this design was perfect from top to bottom. Wow, what a job he had ahead of him. How would he do it, where would he begin? On this one he decided to work alone, but he did need one thing and one thing only.

He had previously created something that was phenomenal, and he thought, I can pull a piece from this design to create my incredibly special show stopping masterpiece! This he did, and thus began the wonderful creation that was about to hit the runway!

He decided that he would begin with the most important part.... the basic concept: this creation must be simple, fun, interactive, able to withstand the test of time. It must come in all sizes, colors, and textures. It must be able to reflect in the light and shine in the darkness. It cannot be easily broken, if left out in the storm and rain it cannot shrink.

He thought about it and realized that this was going to take more time than his last creation; this one is more delicate, yet more durable. He realized that a good design is timeless, it can hold up under any circumstance. He also knew that when he revealed this one, everyone will stand and take notice.

He began to work on his masterpiece by, first, taking a piece from his original design and laying it on the table, and he studied it for a while and then decided how the design would be constructed. Soft yet firm, weak yet strong, when you touch it you feel warm and fuzzy all over, when you look at it; it brings you pleasure, this design is priceless.

Men will want to pay a high price for it; some will work three jobs to make sure it is housed in a place that no harm or danger will befall it. They will adorn it with diamonds and pearls; they will thank the creator often for designing this one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

The designer is our heavenly father, and you are an original masterpiece!

Precious time went into making you. The fabric of your life had to be cut just right, no mistakes were made. He chose the color of your hair, eyes and skin; he decided that you would have that nose, those ears. He took care in making your smile just right. That twinkle in your eyes, he did that. Why? Because he wanted you to always be his star!

The way you laugh...oh, he chose that. And by the way he even decided the tone of your voice. Yes...he wanted you to talk just like that. Girl he put that stride in you step and that sway in your hip.

I know, at times, you wonder, "why me?"

Why not you; he made you as strong as you need to be.

When times get tough who do they run to? They run to you.

Whose shoulder do they cry on? Yours!

And when they need a confidant, they turn to you.

Walk that runway girl, you are better than a Gucci, Versace, Dior, St. John and Balenciaga.

You are the original. There is no other like you, the hands that created you were the master's hands, and he took one look at you and said, "It was good."

You are a phenomenal woman; it's your time to shine. Strut your stuff girl. Lights, camera, action!

All eyes are on you!
